Helsinki feiert gerade die Helsinki Festwochen. Dazu gehört regelmäßig die Nacht der Künste. Dieses Jahr war der Hauptevent eine beeindruckende Vorstellung mit zwei 8 m hohen Puppen auf dem Senatsplatz, Mann und Frau, Sehnsucht und Hoffnung, die versuchen, zueinander zu finden (ja klar, happy end). Konzept und Verwirklichung durch BeNoit Mousserion & Bérangère Pajaud: Cie l’Homme debout. Ich fand es toll, der Senatsplatz war gefüllt mit fast 10000 Menschen. Hier ein paar Bilder.

At the annual Helsinki Festival we had yesterday the impressive performance on Senate  Square with two 8m high puppets, telling the story of desire and hope trying to meet each other. The concept stems originally from BeNoit Mousserion & Bérangère Pajaud and is named Cie l’Homme debout. I thought it was great, about 10000 people filling Senate Square and incredible weather.
